Admissions

Laxfield Pre-School is open to children from ages six months to five years. We have a dedicated Baby Room for children between six months and two years, and our main room takes children from two to five years.

We pride ourselves on being an inclusive setting, open to all ethnicities, and religious and cultural backgrounds. We have four fully trained members of staff specialising in Special Education Needs and Disabilities. We use Makaton on a daily basis through all children’s routines to support language development, and we incorporate PECs (Picture Exchange Communication System) into every school day to support their emotional growth.

We work closely with Suffolk Early Years advisors and provide personalised care for each individual child, tailoring our approach to support each child’s learning.

Retainer Fee

When registering your child at Laxfield Preschool, you will be required to pay a retainer fee.

This retainer fee is £20 per day of requested attendance. For example, if you wish for your child to do 3 days, this would be £60.

Once your child has started the setting, this will be refunded on your first invoice. If you wish to no longer proceed with your application, this retainer fee will not be returned.

Fees

Six months to two years old - £8 per hour

Two years to three years old- £7 per hour

Three to five year olds- £7 per hour

There is a £1 consumable charge per session (1 morning/afternoon is a session so a full day is £2)

Hot lunch if required is £2.65

Funding

We offer 15 and 30 hours funded childcare places for children aged 9months to four year olds, subject to eligibility.
